Use AS-1 Starter, suitable for beginner.
Each bottle 250ml can make up 1
litre bath.

Procedure ( to prepare 1litre 1g/l Rh bath) |
|
|
|
(1) Clean container, filter pump & pipes thoroughly.
(2) Fill in 700ml D.I. water or distilled water.
(3) Add 250ml AS-1 Starter with constant stirring.
(4) Add 20ml RD-A1 Rhodium solution.
Heat up to 40℃ and it is ready to use. |

Use AR grade conc. Sulphuric acid ( suitable for professionals) |

Procedure ( to prrepare 10 lit 1 g/l Rh bath) |
|
|
|
(1) Clean container, filter pump & pipes thoroughly
Add 8 lit D.I. water
(2) Add 300ml AR grade sulphuric acid with slow constant stirring
(3) ( excessive heat may be generated in this step )
(4) Add 200ml RD-A1 Rhodium solution with stirring.
Heat up to 40℃ & it is ready to use. |

Note: |
Please be extremely careful when adding AS-1 or conc. Acid, constant stirring with slow addition is required otherwise may cause spilling. Also avoid inhalation of gas or moist air generated.
Above procedure can be multiplied for larger bath installation in the same ratio. |
